Second GTA 6 Trailer Released, Revealing New Details

Rockstar Games has unveiled the highly anticipated second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, confirming earlier rumors about the dual protagonists – Jason and Lucia. The trailer shows Jason meeting Lucia after her release from prison, after which the pair dive into a world of heists, chases, and shootouts, drawing comparisons to the legendary criminal duo Bonnie and Clyde.

The resemblance of Jason to Tommy Vercetti, the protagonist of GTA: Vice City, has drawn particular attention. In some shots, his appearance clearly echoes the iconic character from the 80s. Furthermore, Phil, a gun shop owner familiar from Vice City, made a brief appearance in the trailer, amplifying the nostalgic feeling.

Compared to the first trailer, released in December 2023, the visual quality of GTA 6 has become even more refined. The surrounding world looks more lifelike, and character animations are more realistic. Scenes involving shootouts and chases are particularly impressive, showcasing improved physics and destruction details.

The official release of GTA 6 is scheduled for May 26, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version, consistent with previous Rockstar releases, is expected to launch later, presumably in 2027.
